A new vignette on "WWE Monday Night Raw" on May 27 showed horror-themed footage with three men who are soon to make their debuts in the "WWE." Those three WWE superstars are collectively known as the Wyatt Family.
Bray Wyatt leads the group, and most WWE fans know him as the former member of NEXUS known as Husky Harris. He is a second generation star, the son of Mike Rotunda, who fans from the '90s know as IRS. He went back down to Florida to work on his character and they developed this quite brilliant hillbilly cult-leader type of character for him that caught on huge in Florida.
A good description of the character is that of a backwoods "Cape Fear" styled man, or for wrestling fans a good comparison would be to Dan Spivey's character in the WWE known as Waylon Mercy, someone who talks about doing good but is actually a destructive madman.
The Bray Wyatt character is a southern preacher and cult leader, and his call-up has been rumored for awhile. Having his "family" come up with him is just icing on the cake.
The other two members of the Wyatt family are Luke Harper and Eric Rowan. Harper used to use the name Brodie Lee and wrestled in Chikara, Dragon Gate and Ring of Honor before joining the WWE developmental territory. The Wyatt Family, according to the promo, is "coming soon."
